| After about 800,000 miles on motorcycles, it makes me feel as if it's time for another hobby. Certainly, it's time to seriously consider a different motorcycle brand. Exactly how many times have I said that now? I realize that the feeling I'm having is due to the proximity of the incident. I won't stop riding motorcycles. The more I think about it though, the more I believe that it's time to give another manufacturer my money. |

| After the lack of concern by the
dealer in Missoula, I don't care if I ever buy another BMW. As I'm
writing this several magazines are reporting the the new R1200GS has had
to have transmissions replaced on their dealer show bikes. It's clear
that the problem continues. On the good side, I did see the majority of parks and roads that I had hoped to see on this trip. Our national parks constantly amaze me with their beauty and diversity. Yellowstone may have found my Golden Eagle Pass. Once again, a good friend has bailed me out of a problem. One week later and the motorcycle still sits in Missoula waiting to be shipped and I'm going stir crazy. |
